Union jobs in Richmond, VA or best LTL jobs

I found ABF Frieght and YRC Frieght online. Both offer union benefits and overtime after 8 hours in Richmond, VA.

Now compared to my current job at U.S express walmart dedicated I’m sick of bringing home $950-1000 a week. I should be making $1250 a week but I’m not. I work 60 hours a week at that. Take two loads everyday and still barely make anything. I have three months experience.

Now both union jobs above require 1 year experience or opt for training. I want to get a year with one job before switching. So gonna stay with U.S express.

My question is I know at three months I can change jobs, but is it worth it? If I change jobs again I want to make guaranteed $1350 a week gross or more. I can’t do that at U.S express walmart.

So do you guys know any other good union jobs or LTL jobs hiring at three months, six months, 1 year experience in Richmond, VA?

 

I checked out Etes. I don’t like they pay you a daily rate. Not sure if true but I want OT at next gig

That’s true. A lot of it is now they’re not allowing drivers to come in whenever they want. Only work nights and it’s affecting my ability to make $1100+ a week. I was clearing 840+ take home checks. Now I’m making $732 a week or lower.
