Good luck at Saia, As long as you can tolerate their ridiculous camera policy you should be fine.

That was one of my biggest concerns that I addressed with the TM. He told me that so long as the video that gets sent to him doesn't capture something egregious he doesn't bother drivers about them and voiced that he hated when they implemented them. Says he gets it... that drivers are going to want to eat/drink/etc while driving, just don't get busted with a phone in hand or tailgate/drive like a jerk. He did make a point to mention though that since all the equipment is new, that the cameras don't go off with anywhere near the frequency that older equipment tends to and the hardware isn't as sensitive as older hardware. Don't know how true that is but it is plausible I suppose.

I confirmed this conversation with a driver I know that was fired from my old FXF yard and went to Saia shortly after. Told me basically the same thing about him and that he's a good manager to work for. With my Charlie Brown luck he'll be gone by end of year lol.

    No open/available spots.
Also, in wanting to move west in the next 5-7 years, it’ll be nice to take my seniority with me.

How does that work? Would you instantly dovetail in, or go to the bottom for a certain period of time, etc? This is the first I’ve heard of them doing that.
