Were on a mission from God. Its 106 miles to chicago. Weve got 3 fuel cards, 11 slinkies, 2 coil racks, 9 sheets of cardboard, 6 messed up hand ratchets, half a pack of rollerdogs, its dark, weve got GPS and we're wearing flip flops.

    Hit it.

    Thoughts?[/QUOTE]
Not sure what I'm seeing on this little phone screen. Every other one is like I think they call it a hog tie? A butterfly wrap but up over the top and crossed? I do that on my first and last with another strap straight across the bottom. All the ones in between get a butterfly wrap of the front and back of 2 adjacent slinkies. Pull forward for the back half of the load and pull back for the front half. Trick is to make sure the hook side of the strap is under and the winch side is over so that you're tightening it. Otherwise you're snuggling down only part of it into itself . I screw that up at least 1 time each load lol...
I can't discern what he did on the other alternate slinkies tho....just up an over the top?

Thoughts? Plenty, and none of them are good. What if that ungodly mess comes loose going down the highway, especially at night? There'd be absolute carnage and people would probably die.
The end result would be, eventually, even more restrictive securement laws than we have now. Nobody wants that,

Did you say anything to the driver? A polite hint or maybe a suggestion or two? Maybe an anonymous call to the local DOT?

misterG, cke, 650cat425 and 1 other person Thank this.

I feel like the manufacturer has a responsibility not to let a truck leave the plant like that.

I mean you cant poison a river, why should one be allowed to poison the road just to save a little on freight by using idiots.
