Worst Service By JB HUNT Brokerage

    Hello !
    We are a trucking company and we booked a load with JB Hunt with Broker name MASON G. Load was picking up on Wednesday from Parlier, CA and was delivering on Sunday at Morris, IL. When he offered us load then we requested him that we have a team and we can deliver either Friday or Saturday but not Sunday. We sent him email in written that if delivery is schedule for Sunday then we will not take this load and you can give it to someone else. But after 15 minutes he replied us that he had made a new appointment for Saturday at 5am. Then i talk to this guy on phone that is it confirmed appointment and he said yes it is confirmed. We booked a load with him and my Team arrived at Morris, IL on Friday night. Next day when my team checked in at Morris, IL at Costco then they said you don't have any appointment and they also said that from last 1 year we never accepted produce loads on weekends. It was 2am early morning at California and my team called me and i answered the phone call. They told that we don't have any appointment. Then i called JB Hunt. I called main broker first but he didn't answered phone call and then i talk to after hour team. After hour team transfer my call to someone and he said that we have special note in opur system from customer that "This receiver will not take the product on Weekends". I asked him that are you sure that this note is from Customer ? And he said yes. I asked him then why MASON G gave me delivery appointment for 5am and he said "Honestly, i don't know". He requested my call to MASON G but he didn't answer my phone call. Then again i called JB HUNT main brokerage line and i was on hold for 1 hr. and after 1 hr. they answered my phone and i explained everything again that we are stuck at receiver and please try to get some other place where we can deliver this product. They said we can't help you will have to talk to broker. I sent atleast 10-15 emails to MASON G. but he never replied us. MY team was getting frustrate and i was also because before booking this load we reuested them to make a delivery appointment......
    Now its around 8am in california and no one helped us. We tried to talk to carrier compliance at ext 11295 but it was going into voice mail. Then a broker name TERRY B replied us that you guys will have to deliver this product on MONDAY and we can't help you guys till that time. I email him that please call me on my cell number and lets try to solve this issue. He never called me. Now my team was yelling at me. I email to TERRY B that we can't wait till Monday so please either request to Costco or find any other place. He replied that sorry i can't help because it is not my LOAD.
    Then i requested that ok we will wait till MONDAY but its a team and you will have to pay us $1000 till Monday. Because we told you that we are sending a team on this load....Then he sent me a new rate con with zero dollar. He said if you will ask for extra money then we will not pay you a single penny.
    Finally i decided to dump the product and talk to their claim department. I explained them evrything and also said that no one is ready to cooperate with us even we are not at fault and its a 100% fault of Brokerage. We tell them that we are going to dump this product. Then TERRY B emailed me that its a depot error. Now TERRY B started lying me and create a new story. He said actual appointment was 3:45 am but there was a glitch in their system and it showed us 5am....But COSTCO told us that they never received any produce load on weekends from last 1 year. When i gave them threat to dump the product then he said that we can pay you only $250 layover per day...However i was agree on that too. But when my team arriver again on MONDAY at Costco in MORRIS, IL then they said again that you don't have any appointment.....After that these guys never answered our phone call. I cancelled all the loads we booked with JB HUNT and that was my last load with JB HUNT. The we drop the trailer in our truck yard and gave another power only load to my team

    Never Work with TERRY B and MASON G at JB Hunt...They are big liers and so unprofessional workers. Never trust on such kind of people...They ruining whole company by providing crap service to others

    Welcome to trucking.

    Free advice. Anytime you book a load with a delivery appointment, call the receiver yourself to verify the delivery appointment. NEVER take a dispatchers word. That applies to any broker, not just JB Hunt.

    Costco has always been an easy one for me. Call receiving, give them the PO# and they will verify your appointment time.

    Mostly i confirm with Receivers but sometimes we trust on these kind of big Brokers. Now they closed our account....They have proven that its a one sided market and nobody will listen to Truckers....They will deduct your money, they can block your account, they can report you but you guys can do nothing...

    Assuming everything you said is true they pulled a dbag move on you guys by saying the appointment was on Saturday.

    I noticed that you didn't let them know that they had to change the delivery appointment to Saturday or you wouldn't pick up the load until 4:57 PM on Wednesday. Considering the load was picking up on Wednesday this was also a pretty crummy thing to do. Looks like you guys deserve each other.

    Look at my screen shots of email i sent to them...I clearly told them that we have a team so delivery should be confirmed on Saturday morning otherwise we will not take this. And receiver also said that they havn't received any single load of produce from last 1 year,only meat loads they receive on weekends....And main Broker MASON G didn't reply us back till today.

    And now when we tried to compliant those brokers in Compliance department then they close our account by saying that you guys did argue with us and you can't book the load with JB HUNT

    Did they pay well at least? Maybe you will screw up one day too and what if they demand $1000 from you?
    JB Hunt can pay well and I value them better than any other mega broker. They are not mischievous snakes by nature. They irritate with lack of communication over the weekend. That's true. Not worth burning bridges. Costco in Morris is well positioned. TA and Pilot across the street they will let u sit in their lot. Apple bee restaurant within walking distance. Motels. Hotels. WM across the interstate....you should have made the best of it.
    But you Go ahead, there will be less of you to bid on the 360. LOL

    Going to Morris and mentioned Applebees and not a word about R's Place? Not sure I can trust your judgement. :)
