Very common for siezing. I have had to replace the whole accesory bracket many times. Aluminium vs steel. Threads are in the bracket.

So the treads on tension bottom that bolts to bracket. Reluar counter clock to get bolt out of bracket ? How much were brackets ?
Why couldn’t you drill all the way thru and put a thru bolt?
    Thanks

You may be able to save it with a heli-coil or a through bolt and nut. There is no access to tighten from the back side when its on the truck. I don't remember the bracket being terrible. Maybe a 3-400?

The bolt is standard RH thread.
