Yes, I clearly see that airline touching that other airline.
You are OOS, due to severe airline chaffing, that line could blow at any time and leave you stranded in intersection.
Here sign this ticket, it’s not an admission of guilt, just to say you received it.

New York will get you for it, too. $350 fine. Regardless where they find two air hoses even touching each other. They see any, and I do mean any even smudge they will say they rubbed together and cut you the citation. $350 was back in 2007, may be higher now even.

That was the last thing I got popped for.

@A Bug Chafed air lines are the cop’s go-to when they can’t find anything else.

They actually could get chafed, from the A/R Cab moving. I see a lot of airlines laying on Catwalks. Just asking for trouble. Always been a no no.

Pull them back through the harness if you can until they are even. If that doesn't work a rubber bungee cord might help. Loop it around and secure it where the other spring is.

Not so much on tractor to trailer air lines BUT don't have any paint over spray on any airline on the whole unit. .

NY said they can't tell if it was painted to hide chafing.....

Depends on the state and the officer, all ours have the plastic wrap covering the lines, and two different position springs depending on the trailer, mine still rub from time to time, if we shorten them enough to not rub with a 53' container, then their too short for use with a long reach 20' chassis and I'm wasting time tearing things apart.
