No, don't have my own dash cam. I did hear the trooper tell the kid that was driving that he was at fault. Report will be available in a week. Traffic was going around me, was going 70 as that was speed limit.

Isn’t it sad that we have to always play the CYOA (cover your own ###) game? Even with our own company. What if he turned the radio down or answered a phone call? Then they’ll try to say distracted driving. If the flow of traffic was 72+ mph, he’s going to be going slower than that because they turned the trucks back to 69 or 68 mph. Um, no! The MF-er didn’t have a license, had never driven before and hit him-in the ### end. Period. There shouldn’t even be a need for dash cam footage. Just my opinion.

Oh I agree. But I also don’t trust anyone. Especially the people who will say if he’s at fault or not. Separate views from different cameras assures a more impartial outcome. In this particular accident, the police report will work as a second dash cam. And if it comes in specifically saying the kid was at fault, then it’s a done deal. They might sue, but at least the report clears our driver.

    Hey, that’s new...

We have another parking lot in RVA...

Just south of the Drivers Lot there is a nice brand new paved parking lot for all the used green trucks... can’t have them sitting on a grass lot now can we... lol ... just need some banners and it’s the AMX Used Truck Center... lol

    Slight change of plans...

Since they had me routed back to the Greater RVA Area... gave me the option of running a couple more days or ending sooner... I was fine either way... if they had frieght that needed moved I’d certainly complete my two week notice... or, if frieght was tight, if they wanted/needed to give it to other drivers... they left it up to me so I opted to call it done and head to SC for a couple days of home time instead of driving directly to Nebraska, which made the wife very happy.

so... if anyone is on the RVA Yard today and you see some guy moving from a nice big beautiful green truck into a very small black car, stop and say hello.... er, or goodbye...

ugh, I do hope it all fits... LOL :D

for what it’s worth, I do have rather mixed feeling about this move... pros n cons but life moves forward.

This the season for new jobs. I'm back doing OTR, but not for Abilene. I wanted to broaden my horizons so now I'm a tanker spanker. Or I should say I now get spanked by a tank!!.

Food grade mostly, but other stuff that can't be consumed but is still considered food grade?.

I know that's as clear as mud, but muddy probably best describes my grasp of the field so far.
