Rate per mile questions

    Insurance is really tough for new guys these days, and It sounds like it may get even tougher? It may take a much bigger bankroll to get into this business. I just read that somebody is pushing for a new law requiring a $2,000,000 minimum on commercial liability. If that goes through, it would more than likely eliminate the majority of new start ups? At least the ones that aren’t out there rolling steady before the law kicks in.

    I might have some Insurance people he could call? He would need to pm me though. I’m not going to post them publicly. I’m still hearing about Some new guys getting quotes for in the $15k range.

    This insurance hike to $2 million is such a pile of manure!

    The fed study's show all but .06% of truck accidents are already covered by the minimum $750k.

    The $1 million most of us carry by choice covers all but .03% of accidents.

    Typical ambulance chasers trying to line their pockets off the backs of the blue collar man.. :mad:

    Don't forget this Cartwright joker too.. And no, not Hoss Cartwright in my avatar.. LoL
