Lost my engine due to a spun bearing, ate into the block. At least it lasted to deliver my cargo and get me home. Dealer opening the bottom and saw all the metal in the pan, removed the bearing and was dead at #4 cylinder, to far gone to rebuild. The crankshaft was damaged also. Engine lasted 1.3 million miles with no overhaul.
A reman engine at a tune of $47k, found a full dress used one with so called 360k on the clock for $12k, with 30 day warranty, should be at the dealer on Tuesday, they charging $9k to install. Before installed they going to check the upper and lower and pressure test it. Hopefully I can get 1 million plus out of this one.
Oh well, I'm down D16 spun a bearing
