Parking overnight in Oakland is taking a real chance. Weather is not to bad there but everything is is pretty awful.

Regarding all these, all TSL trucks are port compliant, Ca. compliant, the chassis are owned by TSL, and oddly, TSL has a priority setup with the ports that gets them in/out quickly, but still up to 8 hrs if there is a problem. I've talked to a few TSL drivers who do this run from Denver to Oakland.

I can tell you that TSL "says" it's a W2 job, but, TSL is "marginally" a W2 job. They have a real sketchy operation, some "company" drivers are 1099 drivers, some are W2, some are fleece operators masquerading as company drivers. It's really weird, and most of the Ca. runs are team. Based on my dealings with their depots, I'd never work for them.

If you are interested in container work, there is a company in the KC area that I see in W. Kansas and into Colorado and Nebraska, I believe Schmuhl Bros is the name, they do containers short/regional/long haul, I see them in W. Kansas, Northern Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska from time to time. From what I see, clean, newer trucks, look to be in good shape.
