He doesn't say that anymore, in today's world he would eat his words.... but I'm sure his mindset hasn't changed

Good jobs are hard to come by, bad jobs and bad bosses are also a dime a dozen. My boss is a dime a dozen.he keeps bad drivers around because they are his captives and cant leave. He loves these people, yet complains when they smash things

Not trying to sound offensive or anything....

When you got this job you were given very good advice and why you should not do it. Why should we waste our effort when you've proven you won't listen to advice? You just want validation on whatever you decide.

It has been my swift or werner. A starter company you use for experience. I gave him 2-1/2 years, and made 70k last year. I got my experience, nothing further to see. The company I'm trying for right now is bugman and sons. They have a nice fleet, he keeps the trailers recent the trucks are also really nice. He has w900s, a few t880s, peterbilt 389s all manual 13 and 18 speed. He offers holiday pay, a healthy Christmas bonus, quarterly safety bonuses. He holds drivers responsible for their actions, if you screw up too much he gets rid of you. I actually want to work somewhere with accountability. Where I am now, anything goes... and the fleet shows. When I asked my current boss why we cant have newer trailers, he says his drivers will just smash them. I suggest fix it, his response he wont have too many people left. My wife's cousin works for my potential employer and he says only good things about working there. I have been around allot of milk, so I know the industry. I used to unload my potential employers trailers.

I got 2-1/2 years on the resume now, the only accident I have was someone else's causing. No tickets or violations. I had to start somewhere, so I took the job and put up with the expected nonsense.

Yesterday reinforced my decision to want to leave. Farmer has been told to be done at 1:30, he is habitually late. He is done at 3pm yesterday. No extra pay for this major inconvenience. This has happened often enough at this farm. My current boss calls the milk inspector and I've got to listen to the farmers lecture on how hard times are.

Well I got my start and im moving on, looking for a new home as a driver. I turned my application in yesterday.
