Hi,
I have recently gotten my cdl, and I have been looking into going into business for my self, but I'm worried because the laws about weight limits are very confusing. I am looking to purchase a tri-axle dump truck, so that I can transport materials to and from job sites. I would like to know what are the weight limits in the united states. (I understand they vary but I would like to learn about multiple areas in order to see if it makes sense to work in my home state of New Jersey) The trucks i am looking to get weight around 25k-29k pounds, and I am wondering how much more I can fill them before I am over loaded. I have done research but i keep getting different weights which come up, and would like some input from someone who has done it. -

Why did I stop and read 40 post only to find the bum can't understand trucking companies are not McDonald's or Burger King....If he was smart.....he would know by now he is never going to pass the scrutiny of having multiple conviction until 5 years after he is off probation and there can not be any history of drug use or a weapons charge.
Here is my suggestion. Grind that CDL into powder and snort it! -
