WTF, we can't even switch parking spots or anything? I guess we have to log out to creep.

It will then show up as unassigned drive time on the back side and most likely be assigned to you.

It may just be my peoplenet, but I can still creep at under 5 mph and it has not been putting me on duty

    You can reject it.

Good to hear that we won't be tortured further with all this crap.

I use peoplenet and can creep around under 5 mph no problems. Your company can control the settings on it.

And then it goes back into unassigned driving time and will he assigned to you again. Eventually the safety department gets involved if you keep rejecting it and you won’t be allowed to be dispatched until it is accepted.*

It’s dumb imo but it’s a result of the way the law is written.

    * At least that’s how it works with Superior and Omnitracs. I’m not sure how it’s handled with Heniff/Peoplenet.

The whole thing is BS. Love sitting for 3 hours because an offload took 5 hours instead of 2 or 3 and they want me to drive empty for 500+ miles. Won't be my problem much longer as I'm almost done with school. :headbang:

Congrats! What’d you go to school for? I kick myself sometimes for not taking advantage of the hope scholarship in GA and going to college. Of course I’m pretty sure the only one I could’ve gotten accepted to would’ve been Big Jim’s College of Auto Body Repair and Taxidermy.

Computer science. Took many years. They only let you take 2 classes at a time if working full time. I mostly took 1 due to OTR life.

    ncdriver1 Thanks this.
