####...I went threw the application process, took a drug test and poof...Nothing. The recruiter (James) told me the total deductions out the door with a 2019 Cascadia threw Ryder was $1200 a week, but there are reviews here saying $1700. I emailed the company (They don't answer the phone alot) and inquired about it and was told to call the recruiters, but they sent me to voicemail and don't return calls or texts.
I have 21 years OTR with clean numbers and figured, why not? My wife reminded me of a commitment I made several years ago never to work for a Chicago foreigner ever again, but decided to try....Now I am going to look elsewhere. The last thing I need to have is another work reference from a company who obviously doesn't have any communication or answers.
I checked the Safer Web site and the mileage reported divided by the 100 trucks they list and divided by 42 (being conservative) shows slightly over 1700 miles a week per truck....Alot of info missing there, but it should still be higher than that. I am moving on.....Apparently, I have a guardian angel....

Yeah the deductions are like 1780 per week it's not owned by a foreigner but is ran by them. And the same day pay is bs if you turn in your bol Thursday afternoon you won't see what little money you get until the following Monday it takes two days to get paid and longer if its after Wednesday they require truck and trailer inspections like four times per year out of your pocket which is ridiculous among a bunch of other crap it's a good place to go broke quick

Would this company be a good fit for me... As i am not a yes man, and i dont not blindly follow a leader... I am very picky about my loads and i dont move for no less than 2 bucks a mile (unless im in Florida)... I dont do anything north of P.a. or east of it... I can book my own freight, but i want to get something for that 15% the company is keeping... Profits per mile outweigh huge miles with little profit... I do quality not quantity... I would be willing to stay out on the road for 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year it is... Also i take off the week of the 4th, the week of thanksgiving, and the last 2 weeks of December... I would be happy bringing home a clear profits of $2250 a week avg for the year... I am not looking for perfection when it comes to a fit for me and a company, but i have some things that i will not budge on... Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

And you you have taxes and have to answer to your supervisor... Two things i dont like...i would enjoy booking my own loads and running my own schedule... Not bowing to a boss that will scold me if i want to take the day off or being at home for a week off once every month or so... Unless you got that, im not interested...
