    Sounds pretty friendly.
The LTL folks take care of their people. But there's always a trade off. Much like life.
Personally, I'm not interested. I had a chance with AAA Cooper and backed out at the last minute.

I wish you the best, Rat.

Called to today and leased on owner op's must have 2010 newer truck. NO gliders of any kind no matter of year. They will NOT take on gliders. They must be EPA complaint no deleted trucks. Also they are leasing owner op's with truck if they are complaint.

I put my '15 Prostar on last Aug. They never said anything to me about it. Don't have it, don't plan on having it.

I looked into them a few times over the years, the things I didn't know that had changed since I talked to them in the past:

    1. They pay exactly 0 tolls now, all tolls are on you, they give you a BestPass if you want it and then take the money back from settlement.
    2. They have a rule against cell phone use of any kind while driving(including blue tooth/hands free).

"No" they said it was only on Schneider lease trucks I did not bring it up. But the lady told me none of it was required on equipment bought on only 2010 and newer, under 260 wheel base, less then 20500 lbs full of fuel, 48" fifth wheel height and of coarse dot sleeper

    dwells40 and drlmi Thank this.

One thing that really suprised me abt schneider is that they pay the lumper fees. I always thought that they would put that on us, i was genuinely suprised when they didnt. Kudos to them for that.

Cat sdp and 062 Thank this.

Generally the lumper fee is charged back to whoever is paying the freight. I have one us foods that is billed to the shipper and the other is a us foods logistics load so they pay the lumpers.

No. I think they backed off of that once they realized that they sold / leased a bunch of trucks to people without it.
