Hell luckily there’s no tarps here anyway, been having an Easter egg hunt looking for a guy named “Milton”; now I’m getting my truck serviced, told them about the low oil and they’re gonna check it out

Looked like it was on the add line..... some old timers like to run it right there. Like 1 gallon down........

I prefer right on the full line myself

Some engines will get rid of some oil until it gets to its happy place and will stay there
I had a 3406B that would lose 3/4 gallon in the first 1000 miles after a change and then the next 1/4 gallon would take 11000 miles to the next change.
My 12.7 Detroit was happy at 1/2 gallon below full.
It will take a while to see if your engine will pick a level. Topping up 1 or 2 quarts twice a week may be a waste. Start at full and see if consumption changes before it gets to the add Mark.
This is not all engines but will be some and if you stop using 4 or 5 gallons between changes the shop will notice and you may move to a newer unit sooner.

Just about everything Western loads can be found on YouTube. Lookup a guy named Dale Clay from Maverick transportation. He does some good securement videos.

Atleast your getting started now while the weather is good, should get your tarping skills whipped into shape before the winter comes.

I’ve got them strapped down, but I have to tarp them and I kinda put the tarp on backwards like an idiot; I had to take a break because I got over heated and I’m at 1 hour 35 minutes, kinda embarrassing

    JonJon78, D.Tibbitt and 650cat425 Thank this.

I threw over half my straps and had to put edge protectors on all of them

Everyone was new at some point... just do your thing and do it right. You've got more than enough time to complete the trip, even if all you do today is load and go park.
