I hope you are "off duty" from arrival at the shipper until the load is completely on the trailer, then go to "on duty not driving" for securement and tarping.
That will save you 2 hours per week or more for driving.

Try bumping up the idle with the cruise on. If it doesn't work, push the tractor break in, leave the trailer break on, and bump up the idle again. Old trick don't know if it still works

I took one, but after I put the tarp on and realized it was f’ed up lmao I threw at least 18 straps man, one for each pallet of shingles and I might have tightened them a little too much because they started to buckle a little, but just before that the straps had a lot of slack. I’m parked on the shoulder right outside a filled up rest area because I have 25 minutes left on my clock and obviously nowhere better to park lmao

As long as u in the truck ur off duty. I usually go on duty to check inthen off duty while waiting to get loaded and on duty when its time to throw chain.

How comfortable do u feel with ur securement, if the #### were to hit the fan ...? Always ask urself that question before u hit the road, it will keep u from undersecuring

I need to work on c straps and x straps, suck as when to use them, but other than that I just need to tweak a few things to get better and faster. Man I’m going to bed, have a good one everyone
