I completely disagree. Every Porsche is a wonderful machine that has its good points and it’s .... yes they are not all 911’s but nothing is perfect.

 

Yes and more important than that is how they feel when you are driving them. They are wonderful machines that make you feel like life is worth living. The angels sing , god looks on with a wonderful feeling of pride at what his kids have created.

944: the Chevy up on blocks of the Porsche world. I’ve seen them sold for under $8k with issues.

This seems about par for the course for them. I’d also bet Florida is involved too somehow.

I don’t know where you’ve been, they’re everywhere. Might want to check Google though, the new ones look so different from a classic 911 you might not recognize one.

Another Porsche that will probably not be collectible (and therefore will be a screaming deal, as long as you have a mechanic on call.) will be the Panamera sedans. Too weirdly styled for the S-Class crowd and luxury sedans always fall off a cliff since the only good luxury car is a new luxury car. (So the saying goes.) You might start seeing Panamera hoopties at the buy here/pay here in the next decade.

I like the Panamera Tourismo, but then I've always had a soft spot for estates, shooting brakes and breadvans.

 

Word I heard was that Chairman Pïech (VW President) insisted on being able to fit in the back comfortably. The rear is based on his dimensions.

Also, the president of a Porsche makes a sedan designed to be chauffeured in not driven.

Heh, I had a teacher’s assistant I was rapping to in my senior year. Nothing serious, but I caught a lot of flack from people.
