I heard back from our former shop manager this morning and as I suspected he was fed up , burned out and ready to retire so he did .
Even tho he and I have had a few times when we were mad at each other we have always remained friends .
He even said he has a shop large enough for my truck and will do work on it for me .
    I'm happy for him .
Meanwhile back at the Morehouse shop the tech that was going to go to FCC had a change of heart and is staying on here .

One lost (sorda, kept elsehow) one gained (sorda, kept in place) ... anymore, Brad....that's not a bad hand, IMHO.

No idea, companies problem. I got the insurance info and a police report, the rest was up to them.

Am at a Walmart dc in Robert, la. So far, I'm 4 hrs past my appointment, and no paperwork. Didn't even start unloading me till 2 hrs after.

One thing I've noticed since the tune up is my oil keeps staying clean longer and longer ...I'm at 9838 on this oil now and it's still clear all the way thru .

I'm still running rottella 15/40 dino ...been running 25k drains but think I'm going to bump it to 30k as clean as it stays .
I already run full synthetic in the apu so I wont go over hours on it going to 30k .

I guess I've always known this but most truck owners would ##### if they're ice cream was cold ...except me .
Which leads me to my rant :
I'm about ready to quit talking to owner ops at Morehouse just because they all seem to think every load should pay big bucks and they only go where they want to go and pitch a fit when things go they're way .
I dont think these people know they're cost per mile but I do ! And if I was Brad or curt Morehouse I'd tell these people to pound sand with all they're wining .
I came here flat broke 3 years ago with the bank ready to repo my car renting from my buddy and that car is still pristine and almost paid off .
    Bought a nice Silverado.
Live in a nice house ready to buy one shortly .
They sold me a nice truck at a great price that is almost paid off and didnt kill myself doing it .
I truly dont get the crying I hear around here !
We are busy as hell and rates have held steady from a year ago , work ..make money and it all averages out .
    Rant over .

We're having kind of the same problem at my company, except it's about miles. Drivers aren't liking all these short trips that we're making. Company is a quick learner tho, and if the trips are stacked right, the miles are there. Just did 2 short trips, took 8 days, and had 3300 plus miles. I do admit tho, to missing that $150 new England bonus.

On a side note, when your Dr says, that at your age, you should have a shingles shot....... remember this, they inject it into the muscle, and crap.....it hurts!!!! Can't hardly move my right arm at the moment.
