Frame rails. Got em yesterday off hometime. Guy dropping them off was going on hometime. Delivering in the morning in Portland.

Student lived on the other side of the valley so he, just drive over to me. Quick learner so far, quicker than most. 20200629_130918~2.jpg

I’m old and confused, is 4 ft off the back ok with a split load?

Yeah, every state has different regulations, as long as you're within legal dimensions for the state it's all good. Just have to check every state's OS/OW regulations and see what they allow, and if there's any special requirements.

yeah, 4' off doesn't even make you O/S in Colorado. You can be up to 10' off (so 9'11") of a 57' trailer and be LEGAL. crazy right? Hell under 4' off in Colorado, don't even need a flag.

I would take those 60' steel beams on a 48' all the time, legal load. (5' off the front, 7' off the back) when they loaded up the 65's though, all the company had were 48's so O/S. but if they company had had 53' flatbeds, legal load. But In Wyoming that 60' load (unless totally perfectly loaded, like a pack of cigaerettes) makes you O/S, and the overall length in Nebraska makes you O/S (long wheelbase tractor too). O/S laws are strange.

Yeah no kidding. Like CA, you can have all kinds of overhang, but as soon as you permit for an inch of over width, they don't allow any overhang, can't even permit for it, it's weird.
