What what the proper temps on this motor?
My oil is running hot at 220-225*
My water temp usually engages fan at 200* but had my temp light come on cause it got to 210-215*
And now also my oil psi is at 50psi were it usually runs at 55-57psi.
Idk if this matters but I just had dual 6" straight stacks put on and it had 1 5" muffler stack on it.

My 96 pete oil temp runs around 180. Oil pressure 60lbs.
-
Any idea why my oil temp would be so high?

Does this engine have a Brakesaver?
Is the coolant running hotter than normal too? If so, could be a plugged rad.
Could be a plugged up oil cooler too.Rideandrepair and bad-luck Thank this. -
I just got my ac fixed and it started running alot hotter. But still, it shouldnt get so hot that the truck has to pull over and cool off
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I thought normal oil temp is typically 20 degrees hotter than coolant. Oil pressure drops, hotter it gets. I would flush the radiator, clean the fins, by taking ata and ac condenser off. Clean them all good, make sure no restrictions in fins. And some new thermostats. If that don’t do it. I’d look at temp sensor, and maybe fan selinoid.

Would it matter if I said that my AC condensor isnt on my radiator like a stock one should be?

What does the pyro show your egt is?
I’m guessing you’re oil temp sensor is at the bottom of the oil pan. I’d use a temp gun to confirm reading. -
My exhaust temp usually runs around 600*
Yes my oil temp sensor is at bottom of oil pain and is new too
