Have to get back out on the road. Kenan (Transport Service) is still not hiring due to the virus. Spent 4 years with them, really liked them, but I am having to look elsewheres, cant wait around forever.

Currently looking at (and applying to) Oakley Lake Wales FL, Slay, Fayetteville NC and Groendyke Enid OK.

Any opinions about these companies? Have other OTR that are not crap and treat you well?

    Thanks.

Ahh, I'm not hearing positive things about Heniff from my local terminal. Sounds like its going down. Sucks, wouldnt mind a bad gig locally that runs the road. Superior isnt hiring as they cant get their drivers into the system and when they do, they get sent right back home. Did 2.5 years with Tidewater Transit, wont go back to the acid runs. Waiting on a call from Slay Trans. in Fayetteville NC. Accepted with Oakley, wondering if Indian River is better.

Groendyke isn’t to bad. Just got to put up with 65 mph trucks and cameras.

Lot more unpaid waiting time with food grade, isn't there?

Yes, looks that way. Friend of mine just started with Oakley, daily flat pay as long as you work a min of 8 hours. I believe that's a regional gig, but 8 hours (including on-duty time) is easy .Cant wait around on Kenan forever though. Waiting to hear from Slay (chem line) hopefully today. Spoke with Indian River Trans, didn't like what I heard. She was in a huge rush, but said Mid West North East, yikes. Detention after 10 hours. Breakdown after 24 hours 75/day. 1 day off per 7 worked. Sorry, I know a lot of you do that, but that's not enough hometime.

Really hopeful to hear from Slay, even if I have to use personal to get back and forth, 80 miles away.

Wish Kenan would grow a pair, I would get top pay and my vacation time back after a year. 4 weeks.

However, as of right now Oakley looks like the most promising. Need something for the time being.
