Making sure you dont run it over the top and have to shovel it. I will do alot to avoid a shovel. I have zero concern about weight. Trailer full.

Tried using a camera. On bulk head of trailer. But it does not stay clean long enough.

I hear you on the shovels...

One day many moons ago when I was pulling a dump trailer we had some idiot try and take a 45’ walking floor full of mulch into a hole unsuitable even for small trucks. The trailer came down on the right side drives and stopped him in his tracks.

The wrecker that came out wouldn’t touch the trailer until it was empty, which meant a half dozen men on pitchfork detail for a while. I was one of them.

That's how you judge a good asphalt driver. He has a rusty shovel on the side of a dump truck.

If he was driving a van for someone in Amazon’s DSP program he wouldn’t be 1099.

A year of food service was enough for me. 20-24hr 2 driver run. 3 hours down to nyc, then both of you lump the food for the next 14+ hours and the unlucky one gets the 3 hour dead head back to Binghamton. 3x a week. The weak drop fast

    Lonesome and AModelCat Thank this.

    You should see seasonal time.
    Hue hue hue...
That place inbetween the shelves is stuffed to the ceilings. 300 or 400 stops.

Why I volunteered for team lift stuff.
They gave me a little pup trailer and a helper. Our stuff wasn't that heavy really and easy to find between the two of us.
Decent holliday money. Not a job I would want year round.

So many people are pussiefied these days. Guy wouldnt make it a week in the moving business. I can hear him now
They wanted me to carry furniture and boxes from the truck to the house. Then put them in the right room in the house. Then do it again and again untill the whole truck was empty. The next day they wanted me to carry boxes and furniture from different rooms all over the house. All the way out the truck, and only paid me $200 a day plus lunch and gas.

Maybe, but you don't abandon the van on the side of the road.
