Can someone help me with air ride for my 2009 kenworth t660 .
I saw one handyman made for his truck on YouTube and would want this one myself

I also called 12 gauge and they have a kit for my truck at $835 including everything i need but sales person mentioned he is not sure if it lowers the front like other persons persons kit on youtube .
...or its just a matter of removing one leaf ?!
    How safe it is ?
    Appreciate any feedback or advices

I’ve got a Donvel kit on my Pete - smaller twin bag system - are you aware of them?

cke and Kurt Michaels Thank this.

    I do
I have their devices on drive axle airbags and cab shocks . To be honest i did not feel significant difference or difference at all ... Maybe due to the midwest and east coast "great" road pavement :)
I talked to them about their steer kit - it doesn't lower the front end
I would want to eliminate that enormous gap on t660 between wheel and fender as well as ride improvement .
How is your kit from donvel ?!

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Have you tried running tall rubber on the steer to get the look you want?

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

I don’t know how it would look on a aero truck, but a lot of people with 379’s run tall rubber on the steers.

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

It was on the truck when I bought it - I don’t notice any amazing difference - biggest improvement since I have it was the RK shocks.

I heard people saying overpriced jXXX , but i personally never had experience ...
Glad they work out great for you.
I am assuming you refer to road king brand
I noticed new paccar shocks leaks sometimes after 2 months

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Keep in kind that lowering the front could mean having to relocate the oil filter on a setback axle truck. And you’ll have to adjust your leveling valve in the rear. And you’ll likely still have driveline vibration.

Opendeckin, 062 and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Yeah - I’ve had them on 2 trucks, been great - no problems. Guess I’m the minority on that one. I think they’re out of business now. I’ll rebuild myself if they ever start leaking.

    cke Thanks this.

Depends on how you set it up. I used to load with a guy that dumped his when he parked and normal ride height for cruising.
