did you ever sign up for some sort of driver application website, and from there, they send out your information to all the employers paying for that service.??

Not that I recall. But even then can't list a license number I've never known. This goes way way back probably to 2008-ish. Hireright even says in their letter they "reasonably concluded" that license was mine. Even though they noted on the mvr the persons name isnt the same?

Back several years ago yeah. Didn't know who dac was then. Applied in 2018 with a company that asked about this particular license and driving record. Like I was trying to hide something.

Bottom line is $1,000 statutory damages per violation. That means every time they sent that false report, tying my social to a license that wasn't mine resulting in embarrasment and so on theyre liable. Fortunately for them, statute of limitations bars a huge chunk of it.

They're not regulated. And are just as poorly run as Equifax.

Neither of them give a crap about the laws or your butt.

    I say so.

Apparently you've never tried to argue with either one. I even sent in court orders.

Transunion and Experian obeyed immediately. Equifax could care less and left it on the entire 7 years.

Hireright also has wrong info. They could care less.
