We got it all ironed out. He actually got a little bit of a laugh after he nearly had a stroke. Turns out he's as new to the job as I am. We both agreed to communicate better.

Funny story. Was back in Denver today, had to go to an appointment to get my CDL. Problem was the only appointment I could get that wasn't booked way out was this little town near Kansas called Lamar, CO.

Ok. Let dispatch know. He's happy because we had some misfires in trying to get me back. I figured to secure the truck at the Denver yard, rent a car, get it done.

Nope, I was told to bobtail almost 250 miles down there. Fine with me. I get it done, stay the night and get instructions to go BACK to Denver and hook to an empty. Away I go.

Now I'm on my way to Dodge City...from Denver to hook to a load...and I'm going through Lamar, CO.

I get the feeling my dispatcher isn't quite over it yet. Lol

My current employer automatically fires anyone who takes the wrong trailer. I think they changed to recently to taking your yearly safety bonus. I've always been paranoid but #### happens.

And that is one reason I avoid being stacked on loads.

    One at a time, please.
