I’ve been saying it for some time along with other people that Hyundai/Kia (and now Genesis) would become the “800 pound gorilla in the room” and the products they’ve been cranking out as of late have shown just that.

The problem is resale. But if that’s not a factor. Hard to beat them for value.

If you can find one from the previous model year that has little or no mileage then you shouldn’t take too much of a depreciation hit. There are brand new 2019 model year cars for sale depending on where you look and dealers will be looking to get those out of inventory, along with some early 2020 cars. Some manufacturers and dealers will be discounting as they’re already taking on 2021 vehicles.

I’m probably going to get a Jeep Compass. 2018. There’s a lot of 2017 lease returns right now. 2018s are coming in, prices are around $18k. I doubt I’ll ever buy another new Vehicle. Don’t drive enough for mileage to be a factor. And also don’t want to be worried about every little scratch. Life’s too short for that.

Kinda been obsessed with “back dating” my Infiniti G35 to the late 60’s-mid 70’s. Sort of a cross between a Mustang/Cougar of the time and a stretched 280Z. With a little bit of luxo barge tossed in.

I wish I could express it a little better than this, my art skills kinda atrophied in my mid 20’s.

I was at a junkyard, obviously, buying parts, and saw the Mercedes CLS500 and it just kinda spoke to me.
That's funny, cause - cars fear me; I crush cars, they can smell it on you.

It was abandoned in a parking lot for over 30 days w/ the key tossed in on the seat.
Business called to have it removed, I showed up and told him, Hold everything! I want that car.
It's not that easy, there's an auction this Saturday at 9:00 A.M. so show up and bid.
Turns out I was the only one to show up - So she went home on my arm, or rollback.

The Mitsu 3000 GT is not the turbo, or the 4WD, But its nice. 4 new tires/20" rims.
One version of these has hidden headlights, I like this body style better.
Got a set of $400.00 real leather seat covers for it for 100, from a guy getting the fabled D-i-v-o-r-c-e.
I suspect his wife will miss them, (he,he,he!)

3000 GTs in base form had pretty decent performance for the money. But when something broke,it wasn’t exactly cheap.
