Heck ya! $250 right before a holiday weekend. I’d take it. Good for you man, congrats.

I’ve worked here for a total of 8 years now, I’ve done a little bit of it all. I can’t say I wouldn’t want to do local, it basically boils down to the timing being right. I’m genuinely interested in exploring the option of moving to TN and seeing what the company @tndriver drives for has to offer. We’ll see what the next few years holds. I sat in a 4 hour backup today on 65 in Alabama, here I was thinking the last 6 months of the year was going to improve, guess we’ll have to hit the restart button on that premise tomorrow

I was picked a few weeks back for our thousand dollar monthly bonus, I was pretty pumped on that. @motocross25 thanks for the compliment on the truck, it looks good but I’ll tell you it has to be the most rattle filled truck I’ve ever driven, I call it the Friday at 5 edition, “button this thing up so we can start the weekend”.

Well I got a phone call comin back from my first shred round that we were burying them in it and they were cutting us off so they could catch up. They peeled me off that and I did 2 rounds of granite out to Lawrence. Easy peasy. I did have some excitement on my backhaul from Sedalia. It was that braided steel wire, when a bundle came out it popped open, and apparently they had some galvanized wire in there trying to hide it. Needless to say the consignee was less than impressed. Whatever. I didn’t bundle it. Sign here please. :D

Happy and safe 4th to everyone and their families!

Went up to Jacksonville this morning and grabbed a load of fertilizer to go south on Monday, about 20 minutes in to the day I had a check engine light come on, luckily it was a simple enough fix related to the DEF, but I swear to everything holy this old, or should I say brand new, truck might very well be the death of me. Starting the week off down south, grain doorin’ in to an auger, then I’ll run over to the west coast of Florida and grab one going up to Atlanta for tomorrow. I can pretty well guarantee I’ll go up to talking rock from there and load coming back south. 5DDFF413-B08E-4644-956C-BA1CD3CC2BCA.jpeg

Great picture man. Those Macks look tough. Nothing much to report here except for excessive heat and humidity. Which I’m sure @Trashtrucker1707 would laugh off being a Florida boy, but it’s hot. Did shred to Sedalia Monday and then preloaded one. Took it Tuesday and got clay and ran up to Mason City IA. Got rock out of Ames comin right back to our yard. Preloaded another shred and chilling at home now. Getting ready to do the same round tomorrow to get back with on Friday.

Not the best photo I know. But the clay we were loading was super tacky. Here you can see the loader man having it to dump and its not going anywhere. Usually from this pit it’s real powdery and chunky but this was kinda goopy.

It’s a regular wildlife preserve leading into the cement plant.

    How’s everyone else doing?

As I figured, I went up to Tate Ga and loaded yesterday, unloaded that this morning and reloaded again out of sarasota heading back to GA. I’m shut down about an hour out, I’ll unload in the morning then most likely reload granite and head back, unload that Friday morning and pre load something for Monday, preferably something paying good. I’ve been busy lately, unfortunately on lower revenue stuff though.

Well let’s do fast recap of last 2 days. Bad air dryer. Level 2 inspection passed. Schedule got screwed up cause of this. So snapped quick pic while getting loaded in muscle shoals al. Going back to TN. Reloaded for IN for in the morning. Great paying run but I hate it. Usually have bout 15 min drive time left so can’t let no grass grow under you. 22F285F7-45D6-471D-A5AB-35FD44812AEE.jpeg
