The dealer will say what you want to hear? Only thing that matters is what's in the sales contract you sign.
Hire a good mechanic to look the truck over. It is a 26 year old truck. You will have problems.
Good luck -
Is it best to spend the cash to have it put on Dino, and have oil anil. done on it after its been on dino. to ck. blow/by, just to be sure you won't have to spend any more cash on it after you buy it?

Hard to believe miles are original. Must have been a local Truck. A good Mechanics inspection, and your own intuition. They’re good Trucks. Friend of mine had a 97, with a 550 Cat. Truck got 7 - 7.5 mpg it was impressive. N14s a great engine. Push rod design, I believe. Good fuel economy and inexpensive to maintain. 9 spd probably can be converted to 13, if desired. I had a 9 spd. Good transmissions. I Really liked it. 8 th gear had long legs. The only thing I didn’t like about my friends 377, when I drove it, the front end seemed bouncy. I would definitely check the frame for cracks, being that old.

Yea I plan on looking at it today and talking to these guys. Honestly I like older trucks. I own a 96 378. She does have her issues every now and then but one hell of a pulling truck.
Do the 377's sell for cheaper though? WHen I looked a few of them up they were all selling betweem $!5k to $20k. sems like they wouldnt be the best trucks if they sold for so cheap -
Had someone hook up a computer to the ecm and the miles on the truck are original. My only concern is that is has 19,000lb rear axles. Will these axles be enough to haul end dump? 80,000-90,000lb loads?
