Illegal Pass Almost Results In An Accident

Fun times. Part of the video we did not see was the slow on the governor 62 mph truck with the dash cam in the left lane trying to pass the 62.365 mph trucks for the last half hour with the 70+ mph guys piling up behind. Notice how he slowed up the moment he got to the tractor in the right lane. Even after it was passed it still stayed left. Lol!

 

Nobody runs speed limiters in BC. Well most don't. There are a ton of steep hills thru Roger's Pass and the Golden area. Chances are the dashcam truck powered out trying to pass on a hill when he slowed down.

That highway is a twisty, single lane each direction PITA. Couple that with the abundance of moronic truckers in BC and this is what you get. BC has among the worst "professional" drivers I've encountered on the highways.

 

In this day and age of most truckers having dash cams, WHY would anybody drive like this? Just, why? That was a clear video. Clear enough to get basic numbers to nail that driver through his own safety department (if he has a boss, that is).

 

I've seen three Swifts in a line when the one in the rear decide he wants to get in a snail race going up a hill on US-54 in New Mexico. He got back over near the top right before someone came over the hill. The one passing and the one who wouldn't back off should both lose their CDL's as far as I'm concerned.

 

Another moronic turtle racer trying to pass up a hill when hes loaded heavy. They should take his cdl away . The guy that passed should have his taken away also
