Here what I have. It’s a 2001 Freightliner Century it sounds like an air leak in the dash. When I pulled the instrument cluster out as soon as I unplugged the wires it stops. It is loosing air but not sure why it stops when I unplug the dash cluster elec

Does that year Century still have the air controlled actuators for the defrost and heater vents?
My 1998 had them, they can leak.
My 2006 had the electric ones.

    Rideandrepair and 062 Thank this.

Run the hvac controls from one end to the other and see if it changes.

It’s the back of the instrument cluster. Behind the speedometer and tach.
