We went from Nas to LAX to Tacoma to Memphis. Once got to Memphis they said heavy with ATL freight. Sat in Memphis 2 hours then they gave us Muskogee. She said do her a favor it was overnight guaranteed freight. Went EMPTY back to Memphis to sit 1.5 hours for a set to drop in Nash. All that time wasted sitting for FREE.

The east coast is the least coast that’s for sure. I do live in a pretty low cost of living area though. Was looking to move to several cities in the Rocky Mountain region and my God id have to make $2 a mile to live there like I live here.

All of us nons beside FXF give a lot of free time away. Don’t feel bad, we all do it. I suppose it is worse on a team when 2 folks are held up at one time.

I had to jump in the yard truck and move 5 trailers after my runs yesterday, due to linehaul drivers and 1 city idiot from Friday that can’t read their manifests and put the trailers where they’re supposed to.

Truth right there, I have been giving up atleast two to two and half hours a night since starting this bid due to dock delay, can't work the dock because not allowed to be on the dock because of covid, supposedly there is delay pay, but I haven't seen it, and rumor is they did away with delay pay when they froze the raises and 401k contributions.

Sounds like the relay run I got when I first came to work here. I was getting very fed up with waiting 2-4 hours waiting for some idiot coming from only another 120 miles away.

Then a run to a hub freed up after that driver quit, which had the same delay issues, but paid better AND came with the benefit of doing my own hookups.

Haha, it's a penny a mile more. Don't ever bring that up to a triples driver. Supposedly it's been that way for atleast 15 years, all the triples guys I know would rather pull two instead for that penny. But $15 for each triples break or hook.
