This is one of my favorite pics. Had to get a couple pallets of Quik-Crete ready mix bags for an anti-erosion wall we were building in the back 40. It was easier using one of the little trailers at the time.

Blair’s probably came from Pete with a Detroit in it. Mine took an extra stop to get a Detroit in it, but so worth it. As much as I really do like my Pete, if I had to have a Paccar motor and get all engine work done at the Peterbilt dealership I wouldn’t own a Pete. My experience with the Pete dealerships are that they would bankrupt many people due to not valuing a small business owners downtime. When my rig was still under warranty I had no real choice on Paccar issues and even though I always called ahead to schedule non emergency repairs the truck would still sit for 3-4 days before it was brought in the shop. My local independent shop doesn’t do that to me, hence the reason for making appointments.

I'm at 8.9 at just under 1400 miles. That's the first trip completed and 130 miles DH.

Think I could have gotten back to 9, but these Texacans have a semi epic construction zone here that took about 20 minutes at 3 mph.

Larger turbo, performance ported and coated manifold, full flow mufflers and a FASS fuel system. The icing on the cake is a Pittsburgh Power Box on level 3-4 when loaded (75-100HP) The series 60 was built to easily handle the HP and does very well when used appropriately. I have extremely bad aerodynamics and I am normally not passing many people as I usually cruise at 65. I am normally one of the first up the hill though.
