I don't get on the forums much anymore but it's good to see Chinatown still helping drivers!

Hello Raiders 10.....Allow Me to pick your brain for a second. You say you have minimal experience and wifey has zero, right ? Are you and her both sure this job is for you ? You certainly don't want to get hired on at a co. and then realize it's not for you.

Next, If you don't know I will tell you that truck co's love husband/wife teams, mainly because they both live in the same town and get along (mostly). If you do move forward with this venture, I would advise, if possible, to get on with a dry freight operation like Old Dominion or R and L carriers that you will do just terminal to terminal. That way you don't have to mess with shippers docks etc. And you can drive and maybe even shut down daily for a few hours.

According to their site, teams earn up to 47 cpm and up to 5500 miles per week. Neither of those are good numbers. The wife and I are currently looking for a good team company too. We need at least 55 cpm and consistent 6200+ miles/week. Thanks for your help.
