My Freightliner coronado 2007 is very noisy (14 l, 60 s)

    When I start the truck, the primary air fills faster than the secondary, and when it reaches 80 psi then it starts charging the secondary air. The problem starts when the secondary air reaches 60 psi and more, then the noise is very loud like an aircraft engine. What’s happening on the other side? Therefore, when the secondary air reaches 60 psi, the vpod is open, the turbo actuator rises and opens the turbo, then the noise begins. vpod, turbo actuator and exhaust manifold are brand new, but I haven't solved the problem. Question : why is the vpod always open after 60 psi and more?
    (My English is not very well but I hope you understand what I’m saying. I‘m thankful for your assistance. )

    Don’t worry about it, just let do it’s thing. A lot of Peterbuilts do the same thing. Especially if it’s a truck w/pintel and a pup trailer.

    Speaking from the stand point off owning one that is the same year as yours it is unfortunately working as designed and normal.
    When the secondary air builds the actuator on the turbo rises NOT opening the turbo vanes but rather closings the turbo vanes causing a distinctive Hissing sound at idle.
    I couldn’t stand it any longer on mine and with some time off this passed winter developed a fix with an air solenoid and now it doesn’t hiss at an idle any longer.
    I have about 40,000 miles on the set up now with great success.

    However, what do you think about wiring harness of VPOD? Maybe it’s bad?

    The wiring harness is not bad.
    The hiss noise you are hearing is normal for the design.

    Thank you good man but i owner this truck for the last 4 years, i have changed the VPOD twice and i don't have that air solenoid at all. I guess now you know which bush the rabbit is lying in.

    You will NOT have an air solenoid on a stock set up like yours.
    I added the Solenoid myself to get rid of the Hissing noise the stock set up makes
