Which state do you live in?
If your cdl expired, you might have it reinstated simply by getting a new physical and taking that to the DMV. Ask the DMV in your state what the time limits are on that.
If you do this, you can get started right away and start getting a paycheck while your wife is in school. When she graduates, she can go on the truck with you.
Are you in California?

Schneider pays for private cdl school. I think the husband/wife train at the same time in the same truck.
Training period is short, which is a big positive.

CRST gets bad press, but that's mainly because of forced teaming. Two new drivers that never met before, teaming for 12 months rarely has a happy ending.
Might be ok for husband/wife though. One cdl school is in Pomona, CA.

If you pay for private cdl school, Freymiller is a good refrigerated company and can run teams there. If you get your cdl reinstated by getting an updated physical, Freymiller will hire you. Then your wife can go on the truck when she finishes cdl school.
