Seems like it’s all about the rate. When one raises rates they loose some customers until the next carrier raises theirs then they come back. Estes got little bit slow during rate increase time every year for a bit.LtlAnonymous and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
@McUzi wait til you deliver cases of water, paper, tile or threadmills that need to be assembled. Sometimes customer would ask you to put the freight all the way to their garage and expect you to pull it on your own while their driveway sits on a hill.
If you politely refused and explain to them that you will do a curbside delivery some of them will throw fit and tell ya how they will call corporate or that the shipper told them that you will assemble their freight and take the trash.BigDog Trucker, MACK E-6, Gearjammin' Penguin and 3 others Thank this. -

Thank God I've never done home deliveries. There's only so much I could take in return for being home every day. Lol
