Significant shakeups in Honda’s lineup-and it’s mostly not good news.
The Accord gets a facelift in 2021-but it’s no longer offered with a manual transmission(production has already ceased and there’s about 15 Accords nationwide with sticks)
The Honda Fit is being discontinued for sale here in the US.
The Civic will get redesigned but the coupe is being discontinued...

My parents bought a 1968 Ninety-Eight brand new. I still remember the day they brought it home; it replaced a '66 Oldsmobile 'wagon. 455 Rocket, just about every single option (power everything, including antennae), cruise control (set the speed dial), 8-Track (mounted on the bottom of the dash below the radio, but the construction, trim and colours matched the interior). Different than that one though, ours was a four-door hardtop (no B-pillar)... the ultimate gangsta' cruiser (2 adults, 5 kids, 1 dog... off to grandma's house). :D

I also remember when I went with my dad when he got some of those newfangled radial tires installed. :)

At one point one could argue an Accord was a sport-sedan. That ship sailed in the 00’s.
Fit probably won’t be able to make next gen collision standards and it’s a domestic model that was rushed over here when gas got expensive. So they probably don’t wanna certify a version for NA when they have that small CUV.

No Civic coupe? Thing’s bigger than a 90’s Accord now. It’s basically the “look at me I’m not a boring sedan” sedan.

I’d like to think Honda still has some mojo but everything is either bland or all shout no clout.

Still, they could whip out a “project X” at anytime due to their solid financials. As much as I’d like a new S2K or sports car, I think they’re waiting to bring out an affordable electric line up. Maybe even a pure electric sportscar.
