Up until now I've been changing at 18 to 20k and no filter changes in between ( mine has a Davco fuel filter ) ...I dont anticipate any mid term oil filter changes and my new drain cycle because the soot is gone and the OEM had to up they're filtration game when it was a soot packer .
Time will tell on the Davco fuel filter but only been changing it a couple times a year when close to full .

When I had my 07 volvo 780 with a d16 non sooter that I bought with 250k on the clock I went to mobil 1 esp 5w40 and ran 80k drains with filter pulls at 40k ...that engine lived to 1.2 million and only died from a cracked head on the 3rd owner .

Soot , idling and filter plugging are the only reasons I strayed away from synthetic oil and extended drains until now in my truck engine.
It wasnt worth the cost unless you are buying in bulk like Morehouse does .
I've always run mobil 1 in my cars and recently switched to the annual 15k formula in the impala and Silverado.
Got better things to spend money on at my age than oil for cars and trucks I can't take with me lol ...4 more years on this truck and its going to the auction anyway .

My company changes the oil at 60k. That’s what the paccar manual recommends. This my 2nd truck with a paccar engine and have had no issues with them.

Always wondered what formed the loess hills of western Iowa so looked it up .
It was formed by glaciers 30000 years ago that created the Missouri river valley as it melted .
The soil is soft and silty and isnt worth a #### for farming .
