Some companies like mine AAA Cooper hire guys for team driving. Not sure how you feel about team driving but if you want to get into into LTL with no dock work it really depends on your area and the needs. But chances are going to be slim. I didn’t want to do team driving but got tired of doing dock work and little driving so me and another driver teamed up and now we are making great money while moving up on the seniority list. Just some food for thought brother. I know Cooper, Estes, South Eastern Freight R&L Carriers, and YRC have teams. Just gotta use the google button.

I totally forgot about Averitt Express. They are a good company as well. A lot guys there with 20 plus years there. Only reason I chose not to go with them is you must do orientation in TN and it doesn’t matter where you live. There is no going to your local terminal and doing a sit down interview. That was a deal breaker for me. But you are right. The longer you are with any LTL company the better it gets.
