    Back home in Omahot , lawn mowed and dodged heatstroke one more time .
    Truck in shop tmw for new batteries , front brake shoes , new tank straps and fairing rails due to corrosion issues .
    Switch to synthetic oil too.

    You are correct to assume that based on that post sir .
    The soot isnt an issue anymore nor is the idling I've done in the past .
    With those issues addressed and synthetic available at the Morehouse shop I'm totally on board now .
    Synthetic is totally the way to go for extended drains in a " tuned up "engine without the soot issues .
