Those big boys can be scary. Back in the days before the spreads, we use to all pull tandems. One of our guys was pulling a big coil down from Indiana to Birmingham. He pulled over onto the shoulder of the road to piss near BowlingGreen, coil took to leaning, trailer flexed just a bit, and the whole rig went over in the ditch as he was getting out. Broke his arm.
They sent me there from GadsdenAL to meet the crane there to pick the coil out of the ditch. My first time pulling one of the big coils. You can bet your bottom dollar I didn't pull over onto the side of the road.

 

On the other hand, if he is successful, he will definitely be able to explain his craft with deep understanding.
