Screw loves and their mandatory mask #### . Another 1 bites the dust.

My wife and I *think* I had this back in January. I had a VERY unusual illness that attacked my lungs and stayed there for over three weeks.

That said, I'm not counting on immunity, and am continuing to take precautions.

Several of my wife's coworkers have had it. Very unpleasant, but not exactly a death sentence in July like it could have been in March and April. The medical community has caught up to it pretty well.

So I'm proud of my wife and the people in her field. I respect what they say. If the prevailing science says to wear a mask, I'd be a fool not to listen.

 

You'd be surprised by how many healthy people have been killed or waylaid by this thing.

Also, we're unsure how much viral load plays into the severity of the illness, so if you're only taking a percentage of the virus through the mask, that could potentially allow your immune system to defeat it easier.

 

Agreed. Especially if you have THREE DOCTORS in your immediate or extended family that are dealing with the issue(my wife has a Ph D even though she works for the state police so the doctor term applies). She just went back into the lab full-time as Massachusetts was doing phased reopening. When the lockdown orders first came out everybody was initially working full-time at home while the lab was sterilized/sanitized. Then during the phase reopening Some people would spend half the time at the lab and half of the time doing work at home.

 

T shirt material is not a mask, 95% or better of the masks I see people wearing aint stopping paint fumes much less the Corona spray.

 

So now you are an expert on masks. I guess you can tell if someone is wearing a N95 or not. If you pay attention, all the instructions to make your own mask say to double fold the material. It's hard to get N95 masks right now, so people are using other types.Paper masks are double material. Still, it's better than nothing. If you cough and don't do a batman, a lot of particles can land on things, and live up to 72 hours. At least a mask of any kind cuts down on the amount you spew. You also should keep a bottle of hand cleaner in your pocket or not touch your face until you get back into your vehicle and use the one I am sure you keep in there. Every time I leave a place the first thing I do is spray my hands before I take off my mask. You want to roll the dice, have at it.

 

95%.....you are very observant. And in case you missed it the first time, masks don't prevent odors. They prevent the spread of germs. If you are worried about odor, wear a respirator.

 

I’ve found truck stops to be a little more lenient on it than other businesses out in “normie land”. I turned around and walked out of a Burger King yesterday after some old lady decided to be a ##### about it. I was like lady, that dude and his kid sitting right over there ain’t wearing one and nobody cares so WTH? I’m here to eat a burger and kind of need my mouth to do that right?

Oh you need to wear it to order or until you are seated at a restaurant table, then you can take it off and proceed to breath everywhere. Does anybody really seriously believe that’s going to do anything to help get rid of Rona-lierus? LOL. If the evening TelePrompTer reader has scared the bejeebus out you that badly just stay home

 

Wrap T shirt material around your face, 4 times if you like, and spend a day in a paint booth and see what your face looks like under your "mask." I tried that in the house while we were painting, I felt like I'd smoked a half a pack Marlboro reds in 6 hours, and yes I've done that too. T shirt material don't stop ####.

 

I am not even totally convinced any longer that sick people coughing/sneezing/breathing on you will make a healthy person sick. I know, somebodies head just exploded reading that...they “know” that’s how viruses spread right, because that’s what Mommy told them long ago. That’s how “germ theory” works right? Note the operative word there. They don’t really know what makes people sick. If they did the common cold would have been eradicated a long time ago.

 

What does that have to do with Fauci's magic power? Asymptomatic means no symptoms. No high temps, no coughing, no whatever. There is simply no way an asymptomatic person can know. It doesn't matter how much one knows about a given subject, it's simply not possible.
Now if he was pre-symptomatic that's another thing.

So, since the point of being forced to wear a mask is to prevent asymptomatic spread, how is it ok he's not wearing one?
