Hey Guys, I will be going to Utah to train for CRE and have been thinking about their lease program. I have heard alot of bad stuff about the program. I need to know what everyone else thinks. I currently make 25k a year 60 hours a week and need more. I have learned to kiss butt to boss' and take a lot of junk, I think if i can kiss butt I can make it. I know i will pass all the tests needed to be hired... If i stick it out for a while do things get better. I live in Maine does anyone know of any companys that will pay my schooling and hire me out of maine? Please respond I dont wanna make another big mistake. Thanx

I don't want to sound harsh.....but, if you didn't do your research on CRE, then shame on you. If you did do the research, especially about thier fleece program and still decided to go with them....you deserve what you get.

However, I will wish you the BOL because you'll need it.

lol... Sorry for the vulgar language. I changed it. I have read many posts on CR England and most not good. But i also see there arent any good posts on any of the trucking companies. I wish someone really knew first hand what cre is all about.

Keep an eye open for posts from a gent named "Buck and a Half". He's from your part of the country, and has a pretty good knowledge of what trucking opportunities exist up on the rock bound coast area.

Sometimes it can take a day or two. If most of us are at work through the week, that can easily happen. It just happens to be Sat nite and lots of people are on and around.

    CrewseMissile,

If you do go to Utah, be careful about valuables you take. I was there 5 years ago and had to share a room with 10 other people. They had some small footlockers to put stuff in but you need to bring a lock. A laptop would not fit in these lockers. I heard of some people having stuff stolen. A lot of drivers that come in there are broke and may get desparate.

Other than the sleeping quarters, the facility was pretty nice. But not enough room and too many drivers crammed into it. It was overall a horrible experience. The first trainee I got was a middle-aged lesbian. I should've said no way but was in bad shape financially and was afraid they'd fire me if I refused. But it only lasted two days. She kicked me out of the truck on the first run for stepping on her bunk with my boot. To CRE's credit, they found her at fault and flew me to CA to meet up with another trainer. He was an old Marine who was on a dedicated route up and down I-5 and that went pretty well.

But after 4 months solo I went to greener pastures.

Yea I hope if i go I get somone decent... The main reason is for me to get my CDL and experience to be hired elsewhere... I have no money and poor credit... I felt this was the only way to get cdl training
