LOL. In all seriousness, though, I always had my Xbox on the truck with me as well... although, when I was at Swift, they were willing to install an inverter in the truck just because I asked nicely. The one they used ended up being beyond overkill and a half... 5000 W inverter just to run an Xbox, a monitor, a laptop, and MAYBE a vacuum cleaner LMAO

Use plenty of zip ties to loosely secure the portion of the wire underneath the truck. Not to snug and no tight corners or bends or you might wear, fray, or otherwise mess up the wire inside the sheathing. Inside the cab you should really get a power strip with it's own on off switch. Your game system has some sophisticated circuits and the inverter can potentially make voltage spikes on start up and shut down. Isolate your electronics from the spikes by always turning the power strip ON after the genny is running, and OFF before you shut down. Or before you run out of gas...
Just saying lol. I lived off grid before, ask me how I know about messing up electronics lolG13Tomcat, Snailexpress, MGE Dawn and 1 other person Thank this. -
