    Any of you use your truck for a daily commute bobtail. I know 2012 years lots of def issues and this would likey make it worse. Was considering 2016 or 2017. Seems to be better emissions. I don't use truck but for towing my camper now. Considering a newer truck and use it for daily commute. Loose the Smart. Currently haul it on back of Freightshaker.

    Is asked if anyone used their truck for daily commute bobtail. It would not be under any load and wondering if newer trucks would have emmisions problems doing this.

    I should add this is not for commercial use. Pull my camper to spot and use truck daily for personal use

    You'll probably have to do more stationary regens, most likely, if you're bobtailing around everywhere. Also depends what your average speed is and how much idling time you accrue. In that case, you might fall into the severe duty service interval too.
