Also, train any other drivers you may have and print up a document that you both sign stating that the training took place with date and time. Everyone should keep copies of the documentation.

They fly, and places I've seen them late summer they swarm all over, landing on your truck as you are driving. How are you supposed to do anything about that?

Company is supposed to train drivers and provide proof of training to be carried with the driver. An inspection is required to be documented and kept for two years. That makes noting the inspection on you log worthless since logs are kept only six months. Pa Dept of Agriculture is in charge of this, they are the ones doing random inspections, not the police. Similar to how CARB officials do emissions inspections and violations in Cali, not the CHP, who may accompany them just to prevent them from getting their ##**s whooped by drivers.

Do they actually think that truck drivers are going to go underneath the trailer every time they stop in Pennsylvania and New Jersey? I give it a few years before these bugs start spreading across the country.

They are already spreading, they are extremely invasive. These rules apply to ANY type of business that travels in the quarantine areas. Real estate agents, pizza delivery, whether using a personal or company owned vehicle. Now, if there is any enforcement at all who will be first in line to be targeted?

Based on my experiences with this last summer it is impossible to get them off your vehicle. Again, they were landing on the truck, trailer, and load as I was going down the road.

I thought all of the lantern flies got the coronavirus or were sitting at home collecting unemployment since I haven't heard anything about them in months.

Truckers have to take a class, get a permit, inspect their truck regularly for live bugs and egg masses........

While George and Mabel can just hook up to their Airstream, that has been sitting in the backyard of their quarantine zone home for six months, and take off for Gatlinburg. Egg masses and all.

    Amirite?

That's why all this inspection requirement is futile. All it takes is one egg mass to get through and that's it.
