Can anyone recommend a quality flex pipe? I replaced this one a scant 18mos ago and it's already split at one of the joints. I think it's been leaking a little longer than just the last few days, though. If a year and a half is about average, I'll stop complaining and suck it up.

Stainless is hard to beat. Make sure your engine mounts and such are good.

Mounts were just replaced, so that could have been a factor. Was told they "just fell apart" when the flywheel housing was removed. I need to make a note to replace the exhaust donut while I have it apart.

Mine used to break in the same spot, in a curve. I replaced the original pipe off the turbo, with a longer S shaped pipe. Now I have a straight, shorter flex pipe. No more problems.

    BoxCarKidd and HoneyBadger67 Thank this.
