In flatbed the last company trucks that had them to my knowledge were the 2015s. And all of the 2015s are retired in our fleet. We are retiring the 2016s and 2017s now. I stayed in a manual untill there was none left to switch too. Retired 3 actually.

Might be different for lease ops. But i had heard even those were only avalible in auto going forward, but im not sure if thats true or not.

Hauling skidded coils today. I swear my dispatcher saves multiple warehouse loads for the hottest days of the year. Started loading at 10 this morning and left here at 730pm after picking up a 4 steel warehouses. Pretty sure everyone was well over 90 with the same amount of humidity lol grrrr

 

Picked up yesterday in Cali, delivered today in Washington.

Dropped student off on the way. He upgraded and joined the fleet.


I mean I did ok at only 4 lacerations. Can never understate how much I despise Verco. It literally settled while I was looking at it waiting for the tire guy. Took about 6-7 load checks for it to finally stop settling. And yeah I cheated on a belly strap.

 

In all honesty, I'd be terrified as a student. . .but for you training him. KUDOS, mi mano.
