We done for the day with 3 minutes left on the 14 clock. A day full of a delays . Loader broke, 2 hrs to get fixed. Bad accident shut highway down to 1 lane. 20 miles of frickin construction thru missoula . Makes the day quite long.

Thankfully the road crews out here are the opposite of indiana road crew... they got about 20 miles tore up and repaved , striped and rumble strips cut, both east and westbound in about 2.5 - 3 weeks. Id say thats a job well done.

I'm saying tire chains. Actual chains are fun, I feel like I get a work out in. More than throwing straps, but not as horrid and dirty as 8' drops in 90+ degree heat.

I mean when I by passed the governor last time. The air compressor doesn't shut off. We are supposed to have safety valves on the tanks that blow at 150. Mine didn't. Now the whole system was at 170ish so I shut off the truck. Popped the blue line bled off the pressure and drove home that way. I had an empty deck. Under 33k total weight. So it was safe. But loaded at 78k only using tractor and Jake pretty scary. Plus in Pa in hills , terrible idea. Rather than flat Illinois at 33k.

Better sleep with an eye open.
Flatbed types are a bit questionable.
